Team Growth and New Beginnings
- Photoshoot Fun: This year, we captured the vibrant energy of our team during a photoshoot, filled with laughter and camaraderie.
- Welcoming New Talent: As Advantage Legal continues to grow, we’ve welcomed new team members who bring fresh energy and expertise to our practice.
Volunteer Committees
- NSW Law Society Injury Compensation Committee – This year, our Practice Principal, Leigh Davidson, continued to actively contribute to the legal profession through key committee roles. As Deputy Chair of the NSW Law Society Injury Compensation Committee, Leigh played a vital role in advancing the rights of individuals and improving injury compensation schemes in NSW. This work included assisting with submissions, reviews and ongoing collaborations with regulators such as SIRA and the Personal Injury Commission.
- Law Council of Australia – Futures Committee – Leigh has been appointed by the NSW Law Society to represent them on the Law Council of Australia’s Futures Committee. This committee focuses on critical issues facing the legal profession, including the safe and ethical adoption of AI and emerging technologies, addressing cyber risks and privacy concerns and improving legal education for current and future practitioners. Advantage Legal remains committed to promoting the responsible use of AI for the benefit of clients and the broader community and we are proud to support Leigh’s contributions in these areas.
Partnerships and Advocacy

- Bicycle NSW Partnership:
This year, we deepened our partnership with Bicycle NSW, promoting cyclist safety and well-being across the state. - Parliamentary Advocacy:
Our Practice Principal, Leigh Davidson represented the NSW Law Society at the NSW Parliamentary Inquiry into the use of e-scooters, e-bikes and other mobility devices, alongside other industry legal experts.
Sharing Our Expertise
Our team continues to lead discussions and educate the community on key legal topics:
- Law Society Specialist Accreditation Conference:
- Both our Practice Principals, Leigh Davidson and Ana Jaglic attended the conference.
- Leigh moderated a panel on “A Collaborative Approach to Rehabilitation in NSW CTP Claims” which emphasised the importance of prompt, quality rehabilitation in the compensation process.

Supporting the Community
Advantage Legal continues to give back to the community through meaningful initiatives. For the past two years, we’ve proudly served as a corporate sponsor of the Motorheads Christmas Party, an event organised by passionate car enthusiasts dedicated to helping those in need. This year, the event raised an impressive $50,000 for the Sydney Children’s Hospital Foundation, making a significant impact on the lives of children and families.
